Dover N.H. April 2 1864

Dear Shedd I received your papers today and hasten to answer your request pleas find them enclosed I would have done so before only I thought it was not proper to do so it would afford me much pleasure to see you while I was in Concord the other day I understood you was there I visited all of the Hotells to see if I could find you but could not find you how is your health I am much better than when I came home and hope you are if there is anything further wanted that I can do for you will with pleasure
