113. This is a street scene in Sanford, which formerly was a very lively town being the distributing point for all freight for southern central Florida. It is also the shipping point of many orange growers in this section. But now you may find block after block of empty stores and the town has a half deserted appearance. As one has said, it resembles a Kansas "Boom Town" after the boom has left.
