Left caption reads: "More round-the-clock services performed by GMRD employees include medical and ambulance standby for each missile launch and out-patient dispensary treatment, and operation of generators for emergency power throughout the Cape. Pan Am also operates pump stations which help cool launch pads after each shoot." Middle caption reads: "Climbing "skyskraper-like" gantry towers, GMRD maintenance men paint and service the framework for giant missiles such as Atlas and the other ICBMs. Transfer of liquid oxygen for fueling missiles is performed by expert crews assigned to Pan Am Missile Propellants."
