Annie Paul is a writer and critic based at the University of the West Indies, Mona. There, she heads the Sir Arthur Lewis Institute of Social and Economic Studies, Publication Section. She is also an Associate Editor of the journal Small Axe. Her work has been published in Wasafiri, Bomb, Callaloo and South Atlantic Quarterly. She is currently working on a book project entitled "Suitable Subjects: Visual Art and Popular Culture in Postcolonial Jamaica".
