Dear Wife

I recd yours of the 27th last evening am very glad to hear you have got so much encouragement I hope it will not prove chimerical but that you will get well and fullfill my propecy that you will live longer than I shall.

I am suffering much with my back & hip but that is of no account. I have been at work hard today and have nothing in particular to write and will break off shortly
