The University of Miami Hurricanes Heritage Campaign, Iron Arrow Museum Committee, University of Miami Alumni Association, and the University of Miami Libraries are attempting to preserve the history, traditions, and spirit of the University of Miami. We ask that you consider donating any items you have that may contribute to the preservation of the University's history.

Important documents, photographs, or scrapbooks will assist us in recording the University of Miami's legacy. There are plans for a new Alumni Center, which will display University memorabilia, as well as an addition to the Otto G. Richter Library, which will store valuable University of Miami documents. In the meantime, your contributions will find a home in the Otto G. Richter Library's Special Collections Division or Alumni House.

The campaign officially launched November 4 with a reception sponsored by Iron Arrow and the University Libraries. Iron Arrow is the oldest and most prestigious honor society at the University of Miami; it was established in 1926 only a month after the opening of the University of Miami by University President Bowman Foster Ashe. During the reception, C. Rhea Warren, an Iron Arrow member, was recognized for his generous contribution of Iron Arrow memorabilia to this campaign. Hopefully other alumni and friends will contribute to the University of Miami Hurricanes Heritage Campaign as well.
