Upper caption reads: "New longitudinal galley in 747SP runs lengthwise along the starboard side of the cabin, out of the passengers' sight. Its unique location also makes it a more efficient working area for the flight attendants." Lower left reads: "Beef Negimayaki en route to Tokyo. The addition of menu items indigenous to the routes flown, suh as Oriental and Latin American specialties, are part of a continuing program to offer passengers a greater and more interesting selection of meals." Lower right reads: "Cabin attendant recruitment and training was resumed in 1977 after a three-year hiatus. Pan Am's attendants, virtually all of whom are fluent in at least one language in addition to English, continue to set the standard for the industry."
