Anthurium: A Caribbean Studies
Journal is a peer-reviewed
journal that publishes original works and critical studies of Caribbean
literature, theater, film, art, and culture by writers and scholars
worldwide exclusively in electronic form. The journal promotes a
lively exchange among writers and scholars in the arts, humanities,
and social sciences who hold diverse perspectives on Caribbean literature
and culture and offers a mixture of critical essays, cultural studies,
interviews, fiction, poetry, plays and visual art. Book reviews and
bibliographies, special thematic issues and original art and photography
are some of the features of this international journal of Caribbean
arts and letters. Anthurium is a non-profit publication and project
of the Caribbean Literary Studies program in the Department of English,
supported solely by the University of Miami.
We invite submissions and inquiries for the Spring 2006 edition
of the journal. Questions should be directed to the Editor Dr.
Sandra Pouchet Paquet at anthurium.cls@miami.edu. Those submitting
article manuscripts and creative pieces should visit the Submissions
Guidelines page for more information. In addition, we are seeking
reviewers for texts published between January 2003 to the present
in any area of Caribbean studies.
We are currently expecting for Fall 2007.
